My Story
I am the Founder and CEO of Mindfulness Consulting, LLC, where I support individuals and collectives uncover their inherent worth and capacity for deep joy.
I am the author of the award-winning book, What Now? Meditation for Your Twenties and Beyond (Parallax, 2017), and the former Senior Director and Founder of Mindful NYU, the largest campus-based mindfulness initiative in the country.
I am an Adjunct Faculty Member at the Wagner School of Public Service at New York University, the Institute for Jewish Spirituality and Or HaLev. I have served as the Chief Mindfulness Consultant for Procter and Gamble and I consult regularly for numerous other corporations and universities, including New York University, Columbia Law School, and University of Rochester. I am a frequent contributor to the Ten Percent Happier and Roundglass meditation apps. I have been featured on Good Morning America, Fox 5 News, and CBS and in Time Magazine and the Harvard Business Review.
I have practiced for 20+ years in both Jewish mindfulness and Zen Buddhist communities, and I am passionately interested about the ways these wisdom traditions interact and enrich one another.
When I am not teaching, coaching or consulting, I am usually chasing my two kids around Stamford, Connecticut and riding my bike to the beach.
